OVERVIEW

Located at the northern tip of Lake Biwa, this hostel occupies a converted old folk house, resting alongside a sandy beach in the scenic Northern Lake region. It provides a serene and nature-rich atmosphere, attracting motorcyclists and cyclists. Established by a passionate travel enthusiast who traversed the country, this hostel encourages guest interaction, fostering connections among fellow travelers. Though it doesn’t boast luxurious amenities, it embraces the true essence of travel through these personal connections.

The accommodation rate is 2000 yen per night for those with sleeping bags or bedding. An additional 2000 yen fee applies for bedding if not self-provided by the guest. The dormitory rooms are segregated by gender. Please also note that dining services are not available.

Additionally, the lodge offers activity tours, including canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), conducted on Lake Biwa, situated right in front of the lodge. Please inquire for further details.

NOTE: This facility is closed from the end of December to mid-April.
