Established during the Meiji era, this traditional ryokan offers a serene escape with Japanese-style rooms featuring open-air baths that offer a breathtaking view of the picturesque Lake Biwa. Its accommodation options include four Japanese-style rooms and four suite rooms comprising a Japanese tatami room and a Western-style bedroom, providing guests with the grace of traditional lodging and the sleeping comfort of a bed. Every room presents an exquisite panorama of Lake Biwa, and the twilight scenes visible from both the rooms and communal baths are truly captivating.

Savor dinner meals crafted to highlight the innate flavors of fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from Shiga and its surroundings, featuring Omi beef, duck, and local delicacies presented in kaiseki, hot pot, teppanyaki, and other culinary styles.

The facility is equipped with a banquet hall suitable for various events, accommodating up to 60 guests, perfect for gatherings like welcome and farewell parties, or memorial services. Additionally, by making reservations in advance, non-overnight guests can also enjoy a lunch or dinner at our restaurant. Day visitors are also welcome to our onsen facility.
