Hakuchu

OVERVIEW

This inn is a revitalized townhouse of the oil merchant, founded by Tadazaemon Shirakiya during the Edo period. Nestled along the Hokkoku Kaido historic trail, close to the station and city center, it offers quiet moments with local cuisine within a refurbished Edo-era merchant house. Amidst the grand structures lining the Hokkoku Kaido, the merchant house with its long wooden fence exudes a nostalgic ambiance yet carries a refreshing, contemporary air. With a total of four rooms, three of them offer sleeping arrangements with beds. Relax at your leisure and savor the luxury of time gradually slipping away.
