OVERVIEW

A campsite and cottages nestled at the base of the area’s second-highest peak, Mount Kanakuso-dake. Adjacent to this serene spot is the pristine Kasano River, inviting guests to indulge in activities like a hop in the river, wandering the lush grass fields, or enjoying a delightful BBQ with loved ones.

The premises feature snug cabins full of warm and cozy wooden comfort: four units accommodating 4 people and four units for 8 people. Each cabin is equipped with a dedicated barbecue grill in the front yard. The camping area features tent sites with grassy surfaces. Two types of camping spaces are available: auto campsites, offering adjacent parking spaces, and affordable forest camping sites. Campfires are allowed in the grass field’s center (advance booking required and limited to overnight campers).

Additionally, the facilities include shared coin-operated showers and kitchen amenities. The store provides rental items such as cooking utensils, BBQ griddles, pots, rice cookers, and various supplies for sale, including firewood, charcoal, paper plates, chopsticks, and more.

NOTE: the facility is closed annually from April 15th through October 31st.
